Justin Ontong, Dumisa Makalima and Dewald Senekal have been included in the 2001 intake for the Plascon Academy for a second time, it was announced on Friday.
The full intake will consist of 20 players described by United Cricket Board director of coaching Anton Ferreira as "guys we think can all make it at the top level".
He said that the 2001 group of players would report at Rand Afrikaans University in May for the four-month course.
The full intake is: Jonathon Trott (Boland), Justin Ontong (Boland), Justin Kreusch (Border), Dumisa Makalima (Border), Gareth Flusk (Easterns), Albie Morkel (Easterns), Umar Abrahams (Eastern Province), Johan Botha (Eastern Province), Dewald Senekal (Eastern Province), Johannes Mokoenanyane (Free State), Christoffel Bothma (Free State), Nicholas Mataboge (Gauteng), Rivash Gobind (KwaZulu-Natal), Duncan Brown (KwaZulu-Natal), Bongwa Hlongwane (KwaZulu-Natal), Hashim Amla (KwaZulu-Natal), Kruger van Wyk (Northerns), Johan Myburgh (Northerns), Burton de Wett (North West), Graeme Smith (Western Province).
The coaches at the academy are Hylton Ackerman (head coach), Shukri Conrad and Raymond Booi.
