  • Mark Boucher with his three catches in the match has now taken his tally of dismissals against New Zealand to 16 in 12 matches -most for South Africa. Boucher surpassed Dave Richardson's tally of 15 dismissals in 9 matches.

  • South Africa won a match by 100 or more runs for the 13th time. On the other hand,it was the 14th instance of losing a match by 100 or more runs for New Zealand.
