Adelaide One-Dayer Sells Out in Record Time

The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) today confirmed that the VB Series, One-Day International game scheduled for January 19 at Adelaide Oval between Australia and England has sold out in record time.

With still 9 days to go before the game, it is the fastest ever sell-out of a One-Day International at Adelaide Oval. The previous fastest sell-out was the Australia v India clash in 2000, when the tickets were all sold 8 days before the game.

The Nine Network has confirmed it will televise the game live throughout South Australia.

Reserved seating and general admission tickets still are available for the January 17 day-night clash between Sri Lanka and England.

Tickets for that game are available from $23.50 and can be purchased through VenueTix.

Also on sale are tickets to the third One-Day International final, to be played, if required, at Adelaide Oval on January 27.

It will be the first time a One-Day International final has been held outside of Sydney or Melbourne.

Tickets are available from VenueTix and start at $35 for adults. An outlet fee of $2 will be charged for pre-booked tickets, which will not be refunded in the event the third final is not required.
