The likely return of England captain Michael Vaughan to the starting line-up for the second Test in Faisalabad, which begins on Sunday, will be a boost to the tourists but Pakistan will now be on a high and could prove to be very difficult to stop. The win in Multan was only the fifth result in 22 Tests between the two sides in Pakistan, and neither side has managed to win two Tests in the series in the past, something England will have to do if they are to maintain the momentum built up by their Ashes victory.
First, they will have to win the second Test, though, but bet365 make them slight favourites at 2-1 (3.00), while Pakistan are 12-5 (3.40) and the draw is 23/20 (2.15). All three Tests between the two sides in Faisalabad have been drawn. On the other hand, Pakistan are 1.50 favourites to win the series, while England are 11/2 (6.50) to come back and win it, and the 1-1 draw is 11/4 (3.25).
