The Champions Trophy is the only event the Aussies have failed to win but victory over New Zealand in the semis on Wednesday and then in the final on Sunday will right that wrong.
Before that, though, they have to get past the Black Caps, who will, as they always do, get themselves up for a match with their close neighbours. New Zealand are 11/2 (6.50) outsiders to win the trophy, probably because they have only beaten Australia twice in the past 10 meetings.
South Africa are second favourites at 11/4 (3.75) while West Indies can be backed at 4/1 (5.00), despite their pretty impressive efforts in the group stages. South Africa have beaten West Indies in seven of their past 10 matches, so that explains their shorter price.
