Andrews drafted into Knights squad

Young Hamilton medium-fast bowler Simon Andrews has been drafted into the State Northern Knights squad to play Otago at WestpacTrust Park starting tomorrow. Andrews who had a successful tour with the ND "A" team along with good performances for Hamilton in the Fergus Hickey competition, comes into the team at the expense of Bruce Martin.

The Knights, now equal at the top of the table with Wellington, will be looking to continue their good form at WestpacTrust Park this season, after convincingly beating Auckland and Wellington there this season.

Daryl Tuffey and Daniel Vettori were unavailable due to NZ commitments, whilst Scott Styris is unavailable due to injury.
