Andy Flower's unique feat

In the Trinidad Test Match, the Zimbabwean victory target of 99 was the second lowest ever which a team has failed to achieve. The lowest score was England's target of 85 against Australia at The Oval in 1882, which led to the creation of the Ashes matches. England could only muster 77.

Cricinfo readers will be surprised to learn of Andy Flower's rare achievement in this test match. Flower scored a century (113*) in a match where no other batsman could score even a fifty. (Such is the quality of West Indian pitches of late). Flower became only the seventh man to achieve this rare feat, and only the second ever to do so in a match where all four innings were completed, the previous one being G.M.Wood over 21 years ago.
