Accreditation will be available from the building next to tennis courts 6 & 7 at the Cricket Club of India from 1200 to 1500 on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 October.

Media are advised to try and collect the passes as early as possible because with both sides scheduled to practice at the venue on the day before the match there will be a resultant increase in security.

Those intending to collect their passes must bring some form of identification with them and, if possible, a letter of recommendation from their employers/editors etc. This is designed to ensure there is no false collection of passes.

Please also note, possession of an accreditation pass does not guarantee a place in the media box on the day of the match as the pass must be accompanied by a match ticket. These will be issued from 1100 on the morning of the match at a place to be advised. Places in the media box will be allocated according to priority.

Arrangements for the pre-match media conference will be announced via email in due course. Quotes from Brian Lara looking ahead to the match will be available on the ICC Champions Trophy media information service from Thursday morning 0900 GMT. Journalists without a password and username to use the service should contact Robin Abrahams at robin.abrahams@wisdengroup.com during UK working hours (0800 - 1600 GMT).

Those people requiring clarification on any of the above arrangements can obtain it by contacting Brian Murgatroyd, the ICC Manager - Media & Communications, who is in Mumbai. His details are listed below.

Both the West Indies and Sri Lanka have already qualified for the second round of the ICC Champions Trophy after both sides defeated Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, but Saturday's match will determine where they finish in the preliminary round group. The winners of the match will top the group and go into Group B, facing South Africa, New Zealand and Pakistan while the losers will finish second and move into Group A against Australia, India and England.

Bangladesh and Zimbabwe go head-to-head in Jaipur on Friday with both sides searching for their first wins of the tournament. There are no formal arrangements for media activity on Thursday. The two team managers - Khaled Mahmud for Bangladesh and Givemore Makoni of Zimbabwe - can be contacted on +91 98 73 80 80 02 and +91 98 73 80 80 10 respectively.
