Australia's comfortable 2-0 victory in the final of the VB Series has enabled it to improve its rating at the top of the ICC ODI Championship table to an incredible 137 points.
Its rating is now one point higher than when it won the ICC Cricket World Cup in South Africa without losing a match, reflecting its continued dominance of the ODI game.
India's record of five wins and five defeats in the series means that its rating is unchanged.
India went into the series in sixth place with a rating of 105 but though it climbed the table briefly after beating Australia in Brisbane, four successive defeats to the hosts ensured its rating was pegged back to its previous level by the end of the finals.
