*A twelfth man will be announced in due course.

NSP Chairman Trevor Hohns said: "We have elected to go with the same twelve for Adelaide as it offers us some consistency.

"It is a balanced squad and as a result we felt no need to make changes to it.

"It was very encouraging to see Brett Lee back playing ING Cup cricket, that's certainly a positive step in his recovery, however the preference of the selectors and the medical staff is to see him get some more cricket under his belt before considering him for the Test side.

"A four-day match will give us the chance to see how Brett pulls up after taking on a solid workload," he said.

Fellow fast bowler Glenn McGrath continues to recover from surgery to his left ankle in October and is undergoing rehabilitation work under the guidance of Australian Team Physiotherapist Errol Alcott and Cricket New South Wales medical staff.

The Australian and Indian squads arrive in Adelaide tomorrow, Tuesday 9 December
