Hampshire's long serving wicket-keeper had a key-hole operation on a cartilage tear on Monday evening, following his injury in the Benson & Hedges match at Hove on Easter Sunday.

The cartilage was trimmed in an operation perfomed by consultant Mr.David Barratt, one of the Hampshire CCC honorary consultants.

Adi was dischaged from hospital this morning (Tuesday 26th) and club physio David Newman informed the Hampshire Web site that Adi will start his rehabilitation on Wednesday, but he is likely to be out of action for 3 to 4 weeks.

Hampshire will name their squad to meet Zimbabwe later today, and it is expected that Iain Brunnschweiler may make his debut as wicket-keeper.
