Babar replaces injured Yasir for ODIs
In yet another setback for Pakistan, legspinner Yasir Shah has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh due to a hand injury

In yet another setback for Pakistan, legspinner Yasir Shah has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh due to a hand injury, becoming the third player to miss out after Sohail Khan and Sohaib Maqsood. Yasir will be replaced by 36-year old left-arm spinner Zulfiqar Babar.
Yasir needed three stitches in his left thumb after getting hit during Pakistanis' practice match against BCB XI in Fatullah, and was taken to Square Hospital in central Dhaka where the doctors sewed his thumb up. A PCB statement said: "Yasir Shah got injured today during practice match. He got stitches on his left hand."
Yasir made his ODI debut in September 2011, but did not play again in the format for almost four years, till he was called up for the World Cup in February. He played Pakistan's opening game of the tournament, against India, but an expensive outing of 8-0-60-0 meant he would not feature in any of their subsequent games.
Babar last played an ODI for Pakistan in December 2014. He was not part of their World Cup squad.
