Bangladesh to take on CBCA in Queensland tour match

Bangladesh will play a three-day tour match against scholars from the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy (CBCA) at Allan Border Field as a lead up to its main contest against Australia in Cairns and Darwin next month.
The tour match (3-5 July) forms part of Bangladesh's itinerary of the Top End, which includes fixtures against the Queensland Academy of Sport at Allan Border Field (27-30 June), a Northern Territory Chief Minister's XI side in Darwin (10-13 July) and a Queensland country XI team in Innisfail (31 July).

CBCA head coach Bennett King will coach the side, which includes four players who have represented their state at first-class level.
Western Australian trio Scott Meuleman, Luke Ronchi and Peter Worthington, and South Australian Mark Cleary have made their domestic four-day debuts in the Pura Cup competition, while 18-year-old South Australian batsman Callum Ferguson made his ING Cup debut against New South Wales in February this year.
A captain and vice-captain for the CBCA XI will be named in due course. The team will travel to Brisbane on Tuesday 1 July.
Bangladesh meanwhile, will arrive into Brisbane on Monday 23 June to prepare for its first match of the Top End Tour against the Queensland Academy of Sport.
