Barbados and Jamaica in same zone for Red Stripe Bowl

The West Indies Cricket Board yesterday confirmed that Barbados would be grouped in the Jamaica zone for the expanded 2000 Red Stripe Bowl starting on October 11. Zone 'A' includes hosts Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada and United States.

Zone 'B', which will be played in Antigua and Anguilla, comprises the Leeward Islands, Guyana, Windward Islands, Bermuda and newcomers Cayman Islands.

For the first time, the Final Four will not be played at the Kaiser Sports Club on Jamaica's north coast. The new venue is Sabina Park in Kingston.
