The Hunte is on to bring cricket in Barbados back to the glory days.

Conrad Hunte, former vice-captain of the West Indies cricket team, has been appointed on a short-term consultancy with the Division of Youth Affairs and Culture.

While the primary focus will be on youth development with emphasis on cricket, he will also examine leadership, conflict resolution and the mental and psychological aspects of the game.

He took up his appointment last Tuesday.
