According to an Associated Press report, Dalmiya had raised this point in the board meeting of the IDI. The IDI has withheld guarantee money of approximately US$9 million in view of the likely claims for damages from the GCC for violation of ambush-marketing clauses by Indian players during the World Cup in South Africa.
