Kent's first floodlit National Cricket League match will be sponsored by Ashford-based catering suppliers Brake Brothers.
Commenting on the agreement Paul Millman, KCCC Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted that Brake Brothers has agreed to support this innovative development for the County. We hope that floodlit cricket will attract many new spectators and that through this experiment we will discover whether or not there is long-term potential for the concept within Kent as a whole.
Ian Player, Group Chief Executive of Brake Bros, said: "This is the first time Brake Bros has sponsored an event such as this and we are giving our local employees the opportunity to enjoy what should be a first-class match. English cricket needs all the support it can get these days and Brakes is very pleased to be a part of that."
The game, between Kent and Yorkshire, will be at Canterbury on Tuesday 5th September.
