Busta Cup Match Black-out Likely

It seems almost certain that there will be no live radio ball-by-ball coverage of the Busta Cup cricket match between Barbados and West Indies 'B' in Trinidad and Tobago starting today. The match, which will be played at the Penal ground in southern Trinidad, has not attracted the attention of any stations in the twin-island republic.

It is also not on the list of 'selected' matches for which the Bridgetown-based Caribbean Media Corporation has scheduled an audio feed.

Regional stations have been given the option of mounting commentary panels for such matches, but indications are that the infrastructure at the Penal ground would make it difficult to broadcast the game.
