Chappell ekes out lead
Maintains his top spot at the end of a slow day

It wasn't a great day for any of the four players, but at the end of a Sunday double-header Ian Chappell extended his lead over Sambit Bal on the Star Wars points table. Neither of Ian or Sambit's trumps fired but Ian still managed to take his tally to 2354, 149 more than Sambit. It is the second day Ian has led Sambit.
Ian's trump player for the first game, Virender Sehwag, only gave him 18 points, but AB de Villiers' 41 helped. Sambit had de Villiers as trump, but the 82 points he gave him weren't enough to usurp Ian.
In the second game Ian and Sambit both had Yusuf Pathan as trump. It only got them 20 points each. Sambit had one more player than Ian's five playing today, but it didn't help him gain much ground.
One pick who continues to give Ian and Sambit ammunition is the rookie left-arm slinger, Kamran Khan. He bowled well against Kings XI Punjab and was worth 95 points.
