Characters and symbols that do not migrate

This is a non-exhaustive list of commonly used characters and symbols that do not appear in the Scribe versions of stories that go across from the CI CMS.

1) Ellipses do not appear: He was paid… Rs 200m

2) The symbol for registered trademark does not appear: The shot was ® David Gower.

3) Euro symbol does not appear: He was paid €200m.

4) Trademark symbol does not appear. His favoured stroke was the GrindNurdle™

5) Acute and grave accents over letters do not appear: Chris Tavaré was paid a pittance

6) Umlauts do not appear: When he was not paid, he quit the cricket team and joined Mötley Crüe

7) Symbol for yen does not appear: He was paid ¥200 trillion

8) The copyright symbol does not appear in text: This particular kind of forward defensive could be said to be © Rahul Dravid

9) The diphthong character does not appear: He had an encyclopædic memory for his dismissals.

10) Accent does not appear: The façade began to crack and crumble.
