Clarification concerning the post-match hearing conducted by ICC match referee Hanumant Singh on 6 February 2002

International Cricket Council (ICC) match referee Hanumant Singh would like to clarify a matter relating to the above hearing, which took place after the first VB Series final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 6 February.

Contrary to the earlier release concerning this matter, Stephen Fleming was not cited under clause C1 of the Players and Team Officials Code and only attended the hearing in his capacity as New Zealand captain.
