Clean sweep for MCC on West African tour

MCC's touring team won each match on its recently completed tour to Sierra Leone and Nigeria. Six of the seven fixtures were won by convincing margins. However, MCC will measures the tour's overall success in terms of its long-term effect on cricket development in West Africa. The results were:

MCC won by 128 runs
Friday 31st January (Tafewa Balewa Square Cricket Oval)
Nigeria vs MCC
MCC won by 188 runs
Saturday 1st February (Tafewa Balewa Square Cricket Oval)
Nigeria vs MCC
MCC won by 3 wickets
Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th February (Tafewa Balewa Square Cricket Oval)
Nigeria vs MCC
MCC won by an innings and 43 runs

MCC's team was captained by Will Kendall and managed by Richard Ibbotson.
