The Australian Cricket Board confirmed today that a second application for the transfer of Colin Miller from Tasmania to Victoria had been received.
As required under the ACB Rules, all relevant Associations have now been notified of the application and have seven days to advise of their approval or disapproval of the transfer. A majority of Associations must endorse the transfer for it to proceed.
Should the application be disallowed, Mr Miller will be able to appeal the decision.
In the meantime, the ACB has also advised the Australian Cricketers' Association that:
- Until the result of Mr Miller's application for transfer is known he is eligible to play only for Tasmania; and
- That players are able to play for more than one State Association in one season.Download App Now
