Confirmation of broadcast coverage of the ICC World T20 Qualifier
The ICC has announced that 20 games of the ICC World T20 Qualifier (WT20Q) will be broadcast live to a global audience.
The ICC has announced that 20 games of the ICC World T20 Qualifier (WT20Q) will be broadcast live to a global audience.
This is an unprecedented step for an event conducted by the ICC Development Programme, and is in-line with our strategy to promote and enhance awareness of top level Associate/Affiliate international cricket.
The coverage will include the following:
- Six matches from the Dubai Sports City stadium within the play-off stage of the tournament. This will be a high specification production and therefore be available for viewing both online and on television. A full broadcast list will be circulated shortly.
- Fourteen matches from the ICC Global Cricket Academy within the group stage of the tournament. This will be a lower specification production and therefore available for viewing online.
The group stage coverage which will be delivered by QuipuTV.
The 14 group stage matches to be streamed on-line by QuipuTV is provided below.
- Tuesday 13 March AM: Ireland v Namibia; PM: Kenya v Scotland
- Wednesday 14 March AM: Canada v PNG; PM: Uganda v Oman
- Thursday 15 March AM: Namibia v USA; PM: Scotland v Uganda
- Friday 16 March AM: Netherlands v Denmark; PM: Ireland v USA
- Sunday 18 March AM: Hong Kong v Denmark; PM: Afghanistan v Canada
- Monday 19 March AM: Netherlands v Nepal; PM: PNG v Bermuda
- Tuesday 20 March AM: Afghanistan v Bermuda; PM: Namibia v Italy
