Sri Lankan `BC` to `ref` New Zealand- Pakistan series

Sri Lankan Test umpire B.C. Cooray is due to leave for New Zealand at the end of the month to officiate in the first Test between New Zealand and Pakistan at Christchurch from December 8-12.

Recently, the International Cricket Council (ICC) appointed umpire B.C. Cooray has qualified to be an instructor for umpires. The Association of Cricket Umpires and Scorers (UK) confirmed the appointment in a letter to Cooray, who joined fellow Test umpires K.T. Francis and Udaya Wickremasinghe as those who have qualified before him from Sri Lanka
