Dimona C defeat Diamonds to leave Negev Academy in a spin

Dimona C defeated Diamonds by 17 runs, a result which means both teams remain in Division 2 next season, and Negev Academy get relegated to Division 3. Dimona had to win the game to stay up, and although all three teams - Dimona C, Diamonds and Negev Academy - finished on 8 points, the Academy had the most inferior net run rate.

Batting first, Jacky Divekar (39) and Avraham Benjamin (34) led Dimona to 176 all out. Anish Pethani took 4 for 36 for Diamonds, who let themselves down by conceding 37 extras. Although Harsh Jogani top scored with 47, 3 wickets each for Divekar and Benjamin resulted in Diamonds being dismissed for 159.
