Allan Donald has resigned from his position as Warwickshire's bowling coach because of family reasons and will leave the county on September 17 and return to South Africa.
"I haven't gone through what Allan has gone through this year but I have spent a lot of time away from the family over the years," Ashley Giles, Warwickshire's director of cricket, said. "I know the pressures of not being with your loved ones.
"It is disappointing to be losing Allan because his input has been great. But it has been a difficult time for him and I am sure he has made the right decision."
Giles said that Warwickshire hoped to bring in a replacement for Donald before the end of the year. "I have had a few thoughts about the situation because it has been a possibility for a while but we haven't made any approaches," Giles said. "We will see who is out there but I would like to have someone in by November or December."
