East West suspended from MCA tournament

East West have been suspended from the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) Division A tournament after playing two outside players without proper permission from the tournament organisers.

East West had been runners up in the league stage thus scheduled to play Janashakthi in the first MCA semi-final tomorrow. John Keels will now take their place.

HNB, the tournament favourites, will play Sampath Bank on Saturday.
