Warwickshire County Cricket Club today announced that they have signed a new agreement with the England & Wales Cricket Board which will bring International cricket annually to Edgbaston, the City of Birmingham and the West Midlands for the next 7 years.

Warwickshire's Chief Executive, Dennis Amiss commented; "We are delighted that we have been able to conclude negotiations with the ECB and that by finalising the staging agreement we have ensured that the cricket watching public will be able to enjoy top international cricket here in Birmingham for many years to come."

The deal which will enhance financial income to the Club and the ECB will also ensure that Test Matches and One Day Internationals will be played at the ground until 2010.
