Latest Prices:
Fixture Supremacy
Scotland/Italy(h) 4-7
France/Wales(h) 11-14
England/Ireland 6-9
Total Points
Italy v Scotland 42-45 Wales v France 44-47 England v Ireland 43-46
How Does it Work? 'Supremacy' is a bet predicting a team's dominance over their opposition. Sporting Index predict the margin (in points) by which a team will beat their opponents. You decide whether their prediction is either too high or too low.
For the England v Ireland game, Sporting Index is predicting a victory for England by 6 to 9 points, you have a choice to make: a) Will England win by MORE than 9 points? or b) Will England win by LESS than 6 points, or tie, or Ireland will win?
Let's say that you think England will beat the Irish by more than 9 points and stake £5 per point on the outcome... If England win 36 - 14, then England beat Ireland by 22 points (36 minus 14). You were betting on England to beat Ireland by at least 9 points for £5 per point. So you would have just won (22 - 9) x £5 = 13 x £5 = £65. Not bad!
However it could go the other way. Let's say England edge the match 17 - 14, a winning margin of 3 points. Because you bet `high' on England at 9 points, there is a short fall of 6 points (9 - 3 = 6). At a stake of £5 per point, this would result in a loss of (9 - 3) x £5 = 6 x £5 = £30.
