Cricket Australia today confirmed that the last remaining seats for the first three days of the 3-sponsored fourth Test against India in Sydney would be released to the public this Wednesday (17 December).
Approximately 2,400 concourse tickets for days one, two and three (approximately 800 per day) will be released through all Ticketek sales agencies at 0900 on Wednesday morning.
The tickets became available following today's confirmation of the pitch placement at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)
Day four of the Test is also selling rapidly, with around 12,500 seats left for 5 January.
As is normal custom for Test matches, a decision on ticket sales for day five of the Test will be made once the match is underway.
If the Test is sold-out, it will be televised live on the Nine Network in Sydney subject to agreement between Cricket Australia, Cricket New South Wales and the Nine Network.
The ground capacity of the SCG is approximately 43,500 including public seating and SCG Trust members.
In 1999-2000, the last time India toured Australia, 106,636 people attended the Sydney Test match over five days - the largest crowd for the venue against this opponent.
Tickets for the 3-sponsored fourth Test against India at the SCG can be purchased through Ticketek on 02 9266 4800, or www.ticketek.com.au, or in person at all Ticketek outlets.
