Middlesex have appointed Richard Goatley as their new chief executive, replacing Vinny Codrington who left the club in July after 18 years
Middlesex have appointed Richard Goatley as their new chief executive, replacing Vinny Codrington who left the club in July after 18 years.

Goatley is an internal appointment, having served as joined Middlesex in 2005 and worked most recently as chief operating officer.
Chairman Ian Lovett said: "Since Vinny's resignation, the club has carried out a thorough search for a replacement and have seen some excellent candidates. Of these, Richard was outstanding and the Board believe that his personality and experience will make him a first-class chief executive."
Goatley said: "Having been a member of Middlesex CCC since I was 13, I am absolutely thrilled to have been entrusted with the role of CEO. I am confident that the Board and I share a vision that will establish the club at the forefront of the game."
