Graeme Hick reappointed Worcestershire captain

Club Chairman, John Elliott, announced at last night's Worcestershire County Cricket Club AGM that Graeme Hick will continue as Captain for the 2002 season.

2002 will be Graeme's third year in charge. Boosted by four new players (Ben Smith, Gareth Batty, Stephen Peters and Matt Mason) he will be looking to build on last year's promotion to Division One of the Norwich Union League.

Director of Cricket, Tom Moody, said: "I'm thrilled Graeme will be skippering the side for a third season. His experience will be invaluable in helping our exciting new players settle in at their new home".
