Guyana, chasing 206 for victory, finished on 208 for seven wickets for a hard fought 12 points, after conceding first innings points to the Leewards, who received four points.

When victory was finally achieved just before tea, Haniff, who was 25 overnight, was seven runs short of a deserved century.

He struck 12 fours in his 205-ball knock, which saw him occupy the crease for 311 minutes, in a determined effort to see his team home.

In Port-of-Spain, Captain Daren Ganga and Lincoln Roberts belted match-winning half-centuries as Trinidad and Tobago overcame a double century from Aneil Kanhai to defeat West Indies "B" by six wickets .

Set 187 to win off a minimum 25 overs plus the mandatory 15, Trinidad and Tobago achieved victory at 5.47 p.m. local time at 188 for four, with 3.3 overs remaining.

Ganga struck an unbeaten 67 off 85 balls, and man of the match Lincoln Roberts smashed 61 off 60 balls in a rapid run-chase for maximum 12 points after Kanhai had protracted the West Indies "B" innings with a fine knock of 223.

In Kingston, Big pacer Cameron Cuffy and leg-spinner Olanzo Jackson combined for ten wickets and bowled the Windward Islands to victory over reigning Cup champions Jamaica on the fourth and final day at Sabina Park.

Jamaica threatened with a century-partnership between captain Robert Samuels and Nehemiah Perry, but folded against Cuffy (5-70) and Jackson (5-89) to 285 all out, chasing 306 for victory.

The Windwards, rebounding from a three-day loss to Barbados in the first round, collected maximum 12 points, and left the Jamaicans - beaten on first innings as well - without a point in their first home fixture of the season.
