Scorecard
Nepal and Hong Kong played out a draw in their Intercontinental Cup match in Kathmandu after rain again blighted proceedings. The start was delayed by a damp outfield and the final day was a quest for bonus points.
Nepal secured a first-innings lead despite a fine performance from Afzaal Haider, who claimed 5 for 23. Nepal had progressed comfortably to 51 for 1, with solid contributions from Paresh Lohan (25) Paras Khadka (28). But Haider's spell reduced them to 86 for five before they passed 100 and declared.
There was enough time for Nepal to claim three Hong Kong wickets in their second innings, Binod Das added one more wicket to his first-innings haul of six and claimed the man-of-the-match award. Nepal took 8.5 points from the match, Hong Kong managed 5.5.
