Hampshire Second XI Chose from 12 for the Aon Trophy Final to be played at the County Ground, Southampton on Moday 4th September (11:00 start).
Hampshire entertain Leicestershire 2ndXI, in a repeat of the 1997 final won by the visitors. Hampshire also lost in last seasons final against Kent at Canterbury.
The match is of 50 overs duration, similar to Nat West Trophy regulations, but the playing creteria for the final is altered:
1) No more than two capped players 2) No more that three players over 25 years old 3) All players must have played in at least two matches in the group stages.
Shaun Udal who is within these rules captains the team.
Full facilities will be available at the County Ground for spectators, and admission is free.
