Hampshire are taking thirteen players with them for their opening Frizzell County Championship match at Worcestershire's New Road Ground, over the Easter Weekend.
The match which starts on Good Friday, will give Hampshire debuts to Wasim Akram and Ed Giddins.
James Adams who already has a first-class century under his belt for Loughborough University this season opens the batting with Derek Kenway.
Chris Tremlett although included in the squad will probably be one of the two players left out, he has some sore shins following his excessive bowling for the England Academy in Australia and the tour of Sri Lanka, bowling far more overs than the other seamers in the party.
John Crawley captains the side for the first time, and will no doubt, along with First Team manager Paul Terry, be looking to get the team off to a good start.
Throughout the season you can see up to date live scores of all Hampshire matches on the Hampshire Web site, and each evening the web master will be reporting on the day also.
The full squad is in possible batting order: Derek Kenway, James Adams, John Crawley (c), Robin Smith, Will Kendall, Alex Morris, Nic Pothas (wk), Dimitri Mascarenhas, Wasim Akram, Shaun Udal, Alan Mullally, Ed Giddins and Chris Tremlett.
