Harris included for Auckland one-dayer
Chris Harris will join the New Zealand squad for the fifth one-dayer against South Africa to be played at Auckland on Saturday
Chris Harris will join the New Zealand squad for the fifth one-day international against South Africa to be played at Auckland on Saturday. John Bracewell, New Zealand's coach, said that Harris's bowling is likely to be effective on the Eden Park wicket. "We are playing on the same drop-in wicket we played on for the first one-day match against South Africa and that clearly suited the slower bowlers."
Bracewell added, "Over the year's Chris's bowling has proven effective on these slower types of wickets. He will be added to the squad, extending it to 13, and once we have had a chance to have a look at the wicket a decision will be made on whether Chris will be required in the starting XI."
Harris is New Zealand's most capped one-day player. If he plays on Saturday it will be his 239th one-day international.
