HKCA Vacancy - Commercial Manager (Job Ref: CM)

The Hong Kong Cricket Association (HKCA) is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Commercial Manager who will be responsible for the management of all commercial activities, international events (including the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes), marketing, communications and PR activities of the HKCA.

Job Description

• Responsible for revenue generation and co-ordination for the Association and its related events including the annual Hong Kong Sixes International Tournament.
• Responsible for safeguarding and enhancing all "Cricket Sixes" revenue opportunities, whilst maintaining the unique world status of the event, by maintaining and establishing associated long-term sponsorship agreements and relationships with the global governing board of cricket and its affiliates.
• Seek and exploit possible new sources of income and funding opportunities for the benefit of the Association, and develop a robust sponsorship programme for the national teams and Hong Kong cricket in general.
• Develop the Hong Kong Cricket brand to meet the objectives of growth across all areas of the game and better identify the audiences that are keys to the future growth of the game, and focus marketing activities appropriately.
• Responsible for recommending appropriate initiatives to ensure the continued financial health of the Association and for ongoing communication with the financial departments of the global and regional governing cricket bodies.

Qualification

• A minimum qualification of university degree in the related field, with at least 5 years solid marketing and fund raising experience.
• Capable to work independently with good communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English, with Chinese is an extra advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint Presentation.
• Immediately available is preferred.

Package
