Hong Kong squad named for ICC World T20 Qualifiers in Dubai

The Hong Kong selectors have named their final squad for the upcoming ICC World T20 Qualifier 2013 in Dubai.

The 15-man Hong Kong squad is:

• Irfan Ahmed
• Nadeem Ahmed
• Haseeb Amjad
• Moner Ahmed
• Mark Chapman
• Babar Hayat
• Aizaz Khan
• Nizakat Khan
• Roy Lamsam
• Kinchit Shah
• Daljeet Singh
• Ali Skhawat

Officials on the tour will be:

• Darrell Sellers (Team Manager)
• Charlie Burke (Head Coach)
• Jawaid Iqbal (Assistant Coach)
• Chris Pickett (Analyst)
• Chris Pedra (Physiotherapist)

New to the squad is Haseeb Amjad who recently qualified as a 4-year resident, while Ali Skhawat makes a return to the squad after a number of years on the sidelines.

The top six teams from the 16-team Dubai tournament qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup in Bangladesh in March/April 2014. Hong Kong is grouped alongside favourites Ireland, Namibia, Canada, Uganda, USA, Italy and hosts UAE.
