The top two teams in each group have now converged in Christchurch to play the Super League. Those teams are England and India from Group A; South Africa and Australia from Group B; New Zealand and Sri Lanka from Group C and Pakistan and West Indies from Group D. Quarter-final matches start on 23rd January and the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2010 final will be played on 30th January 2010.

Hong Kong will face the strong Bangladesh U19 cricket team in a Plate Championship Quarter-final match to be played at McLean Park, Napier on 24th January 2010. Bangladesh U19 beat both Australia U19 and New Zealand U19 in warm-up matches before the start of the competition so the Hong Kong U19 team know they will be facing a tough battle against high-class opposition in the quarter-final showdown.

Hong Kong will be looking to put their poor performance against Afghanistan U19 behind them and start afresh with a renewed energy and confidence. The team will have two days of training in which they'll be looking to put right some of the technical inadequacies that were exposed during the match against Afghanistan U19.
