ICC announces Emirates umpire and referee appointments for Zimbabwe, New Zealand and Sri Lanka
All these Test and ODI matches will be refereed by members of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Referees
The International Cricket Council today confirmed the Emirates Elite and International Panel umpire and referee appointments for the following series:
Zimbabwe v Bangladesh
New Zealand v South Africa
Sri Lanka v Australia
All these Test and ODI matches will be refereed by members of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Referees.
In the majority of the Test Matches both on-field umpires will be from the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires though three of the Emirates International Panel of ICC Umpires will also have an opportunity to officiate at this level.
Steve Davis from Australia will stand in the first Test of the New Zealand v South Africa series; Aleem Dar will stand in the second and third Tests of the same series and Neil Mallender from England is scheduled to stand in both Tests of the Zimbabwe v Bangladesh series.
For all of the ODI matches one official has been appointed by the ICC. In each case he will be accompanied by an official from the Emirates International Panel of Umpires appointed by the home Board.
