ICC Chief Executives' Committee meeting kicks off annual meetings at Lord's on Friday

The ICC Chief Executives' Committee (CEC) will kick off a series of meetings for the cricket world's leading administrators when it begins at Lord's Cricket Ground on Friday 24 June.

The two-day meeting will make decisions on a range of matters relating to the playing of cricket as well as making recommendations on the business of cricket for consideration by the ICC Board.

Key agenda items for the CEC include:

  • Consideration of proposals from ICC Cricket Committee concerning:
    • Johnnie Walker Super Series technology trials
    • Changes to ODI playing conditions
    • Cricket bat specifications
  • Consideration of proposed amendments to ICC Code of Conduct including issues relating to right of appeal
  • Formulation of recommendation to IDI Board regarding format of ICC Champions Trophy 2006

The CEC comprises the Chief Executives of the 10 Test-playing nations and three representatives from ICC Associate Member countries.

The series of meetings will conclude on 28 June with the ICC Annual Conference and ICC Cricket Business Forum.

Also incorporated into the programme will be a meeting of the ICC Executive Board on 27 June, the annual ICC Associate Members meeting and the first ever ICC Women's Committee meeting.

The Directors of IDI will then travel to Dublin for the meeting of the IDI Board of Directors on 29 June.
