ICC meetings get underway at Lord's on Sunday with Chief Executives' Committee

The ICC Chief Executives' Committee (CEC) will start off a series of meetings for world cricket's leading administrators when it begins at Lord's Cricket Ground on Sunday 24 June.
The two-day CEC meeting will make decisions on a range of matters relating to the playing of cricket as well as recommendations on the business of cricket for consideration by the ICC Board, which will meet over two days on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 June.
The ICC Board will discuss a host of issues, including the appointment of a Vice-President to take over from current President Ray Mali at Annual Conference 2008, and matters surrounding Zimbabwe including its possible return to Test cricket in November.
Friday 29 June will see the ICC's Annual Conference take place in the Long Room, followed by a Members' Forum.
Following that Members' Forum there will be a media opportunity at The Brit Oval cricket ground ahead of the England - West Indies Twenty20 international. Details of the opportunity, including arrangements for access, will be confirmed and announced in due course.
The ICC Board consists of the Chairman or President from each of the ten Full Members plus three Associate Member representatives. Also present at ICC Board meetings is the ICC President, who chairs proceedings, and the ICC Chief Executive.

Also included on the CEC agenda is the signing off of the playing conditions for the ICC World Twenty20 2007 and discussion on the umpiring task force proposed by the ICC Cricket Committee.
The CEC comprises the Chief Executives of the 10 Test-playing Members and three representatives from ICC Associate Members. It is chaired by the ICC's Chief Executive Officer. The ICC President and the Chairman of the ICC Cricket Committee will be in attendance.
