ICC President Ehsan Mani and ICC Chief Executive Malcolm Speed will be in Pakistan from 8 - 10 May to meet with the Pakistan Cricket Board and attend a two-day seminar on International Cricket Development.
They will be fulfilling part of a commitment made by Mr Mani when he became ICC President in June 2003 to visit all of the ICC's Full Member countries with Malcolm Speed to brief them on the aims and objectives of the ICC, its organizational structure and the day-to-day running and handling of affairs of the ICC and also develop an understanding of the way all of the member boards operate.
The International Cricket Development seminar is being co-ordinated by the Asian Cricket Council. Mr Mani and Mr Speed are amongst a range of high-profile speakers at this event.
The ICC and the PCB completely refute inaccurate media comment in relation to the content and purpose of these meetings.
