ICC welcomes release of Indian CBI Investigation

The ICC today welcomed the official publication of the CBI investigation into alleged cricket corruption.

The 166 page investigation was published at 14:30 Indian time today (1/11/00) by the Indian Government.

"The ICC welcomes this development as another important step on the road towards full investigation of the issue of international cricket corruption," said Malcolm Gray, President of ICC, speaking from Melbourne, Australia today.

"Until we have been able to study the contents in detail it would be inappropriate to make any further comment at this point in time," added Mr Gray.
