India announce squad for third Test

The Indian selectors today announced an unchanged squad of 14 for the last Test to be played at Bangalore from March 24 to 28. India won the second Test by 195 runs and, with a drawn series still possible, the selectors are unlikely to effect changes within the playing XI. Hence the chances of Yuvraj Singh - who was released from the squad to turn up for his side in the Ranji semi-final - playing are negligible.

The India A squad for the one-day warm-up game to be held on March 30 in Hyderabad was also announced. Dinesh Mongia, who had an outstanding domestic season in England, was named captain of the squad - a collection of unseen hopefuls and the tried and tested. Among the inexperienced is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, whose batting has won him rave reviews.
