India v England - turning points
Turning points from the second T20 between India and England, played in Mumbai, on December 22
1.5 Dernbach to Rahane, OUT, length outside off, a wild swing gets a huge outside edge that flies straight to third man who doesn't have to move. Rahane took a little step down the wicket and swung hard getting a huge edge and flew right down the fielder's throat, a good early blow for England, Rahane played well in Pune
AM Rahane c Root b Dernbach 3 (8m 5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 60.00
8.1 Wright to Yuvraj Singh, OUT, that is why Wright's bowling. Sends down a back of a length ball just outside off which Yuvraj pulls down long on's throat What a bonus for England. Could have hit that anywhere but has slapped it straight down the ground and the fielder didn't have to move to take the catch
Yuvraj Singh c Root b Wright 4 (6m 5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 80.00
18.4 Bresnan to Dhoni, OUT, picks out midwicket and Dhoni goes! England needed that... Bresnan dug the ball in but it wasn't quite short enough to pull, Dhoni wasn't able to time his shot and the ball popped in slow motion straight into Samit Patel's hands standing on the edge of the circle
MS Dhoni c Patel b Bresnan 38 (23m 18b 3x4 2x6) SR: 211.11
8.45pm: India have boing-boinged their way to a pretty impressive score - you'd make them favourites, even if the pitch is a decent one. England will need some magic from Morgan and a few from the dew if they're going to overhaul 177.
7.3 Ashwin to Lumb, FOUR, driven at outside off, takes a thin edge, no chance for Dhoni and this races away to third man. Half-century for Lumb who has been a different player to the other night...
8.2 Yuvraj Singh to Lumb, OUT, down the wicket, swing and miss and easily stumped Yuvraj has slipped on past Lumb and India have their breakthrough. Lumb tried to leg side against the spin but this ball is just skidding on with the dew, Lumb was late on the stroke and missed by a distance, smart but simply stumping for Dhoni
MJ Lumb st †Dhoni b Yuvraj Singh 50 (43m 34b 6x4 2x6) SR: 147.05
Two to tie (which would bring a super over), three to win. India just want a dot or a single... Here we go.
19.6 Dinda to Morgan, SIX, and Morgan smashes it straight back over Dinda's head for six! You can't set a field for that! It was full, searching for the yorker, but ended up being a half volley in Morgan's hitting arc and he made no mistake, kabooming the ball over the rope with a free-flowing swing of the arms - and that means England win by six wickets to tie the T20 series 1-1
