The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed in writing that it has received permission from the Indian Government to resume bilateral cricket ties with Pakistan, according to a press release from the Pakiustan Cricket Board.
Jagmohan Dalmiya, the BCCI's president, has also written to the PCB saying that "as per the agreement between the two boards" India will tour Pakistan in February-March next year.
But a PCB spokesman commented: "However, the BCCI has requested us to send a fresh itinerary as the previous itinerary gives the Indian team a very brief break from the tour to Australia."
