Muthiah to take up ICC sanctions with Indian Government: The president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) AC Muthiah said on Sunday that he would place the International Cricket Council's (ICC) threat of sanctions after the cancellation of the Indian tour to Pakistan, before the Indian Government.
Speaking to Press Trust of India in Chennai, Muthiah said ``we can only place his comments before the government of India and it is for the government to react,'' in reference to the ICC president Malcolm Gray's remarks in Lahore threatening India with a fine and a boycott by Test-playing nations.
Muthiah said ``In the next ICC meeting to be held in February in Australia, this matter (the threat of sanctions) shall be taken up with ICC.''
Prasad to lead Karnataka against Kerala
